Outstanding music in the heart of village communities

Founded by Julian Collings in 2026, the West Kent Music Festival aims to bring music of the highest calibre into the heart of village communities throughout West Kent. The area boasts an exceptional number of beautiful churches which provide the perfect settings for our summer festival programme. We aim to make our concerts affordable, varied and engaging with an emphasis on solo and chamber music.

In these challenging times for the arts, we are also deeply committed to our education and outreach programme. In addition to their festival concert, all our artists undertake an informal performance or workshop in partnership with a local school, care home or other charity. We firmly believe that high quality music making should be made accessible to those who would otherwise miss out.
